Days: 6.00 am – 4.30 pm Mon. – Thursday: Wage: $20 – $25/HR
Location: NE Minneapolis

Objective:

We are seeking a skilled Deburrer to join our manufacturing team. This position sets up and controls the operation of deburring and other related tooling machines to perform grinding, deburring, or chamfering operations on metal parts. Inspects results with appropriate gauges to ensure conformance to specifications. Works on complex parts requiring exacting tolerances, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs Deburring operations, requires knowledge of:
  • Job requirements, materials, and tools used.
  • Use of gages and measuring tools to verify dimensional requirements are met.
  • Operates deburring and related tooling machines to perform grinding, deburring, or chamfering operations on metal parts.
  • Properly and safely loads elements to be deburred into feed mechanisms of machines and monitors the deburring process.
  • Reads blueprints and other work orders to perform the job.
  • Ensures quality control of parts produced.
  • Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
  • Completes and maintains paperwork for parts.
  • Ensures work is done safely by adhering to established safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintains clean and safe work area including daily and regular cleaning of machinery in compliance with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches, or other production orders.
  • Maintain routine records.
  • Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, and measurement devices, as well as methods and techniques used in safe machining operations.
  • Strong attention to quality and detail orientation.
  • Mechanical competency.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Time management skills to meet schedules and time standards, to the best of my ability as instructed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships.
